Verse 129:

“But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, ‘Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him, I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.'”

Benefits of Surah At-Tawbah, Ayat 128-129:

1. These verses can prolong one’s life by the permission of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala if recited repeatedly.

    

2. If recited seven times every day, it can facilitate matters of this world and the hereafter.

    

3. If recited in the morning, it can ward off threats for that day, and if recited in the evening, it can protect from threats during the night, God willing.

    

4. These verses can strengthen one’s faith in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.

    

5. These verses are also for invoking compassion.

    

6. When our appointed time of death arrives, we will no longer be able to recite these two verses, even if we used to recite and practice them before. Allah indicates that our end is near, and at that moment, we seem to forget these verses, unable to recall them, even though we used to recite them every day. This is a sign that our appointed time is approaching. This is one of the signs that Allah gives to His servants who practice Surah At-Tawbah, Ayat 128-129.
